At Pure Joy Sourdough, we follow a traditional sourdough process that honors time, patience, and natural fermentation. Each batch begins with our lively wild starter, fed daily and nurtured with care. The dough is mixed gently, allowed to rest, and then given long, slow fermentation — a process that develops deep flavor, improves digestibility, and creates that signature sourdough character you simply can’t rush.
Every loaf is hand‑shaped, cold‑fermented overnight, and baked to golden perfection. No commercial yeast. No shortcuts. Just real ingredients, natural fermentation, and the craft of artisan baking.
Good bread starts with good ingredients. We use high‑quality flour imported from Italy, and for our whole‑wheat products, we mill fresh organic wheat berries. We add local raw honey for natural sweetness and source organic, local ingredients whenever possible. Every product is made with joy!
